The common law traditionally requires a plaintiff to show standing – a sufficient interest in the matter – before being given the right to take action. Public interest standing, or the right of any citizen to take action to enforce a public duty, has been ruled out.^[11] While a more liberal approach appeared to be gaining traction in the 1990s, the High Court has shown a reluctance to embrace 'open' standing as favoured by Canadian courts.^[12]

Dental Fluorosis is visual proof of FLUORIDE POISONING at the time of tooth formation for those most sensitive to this toxin.

For comparison – latest  Australian fluorosis  data available is the New South Wales ( Australia ) Child Dental Health Survey conducted by NSW Health Dept – which  found nearly 4 children in a hundred ( 3.8% ) had moderate ( clearly visible )  fluorosis ( TF score of 3 or more on INCISOR Teeth )  compared to only 0.2% in non-fluoridated areas.

The Australian  Research Centre Population Oral Health ( ARCPOH )  ( based at Adelaide University Dental School South Australia ) collected data on adult dental fluorosis ( Australian adults 15 to 44 years of age ) in the National Adult Oral Health Survey 2004-2006 , but to date Prof A John Spencer has not reported on AND  has refused to release the data under FOI request .

• Key findings
• Less than one-quarter of persons aged 6-49 had dental fluorosis.
• Prevalence of dental fluorosis was higher among younger persons and ranged from 41% among adolescents aged 12-15 to 9% among adults aged 40-49.
• Children aged 12-15 in 1999-2004 had higher prevalence of dental fluorosis compared with the same aged children in 1986-1987.
